Water Microbiology

Water Microbiology covers the following types of samples

  1. Swimming pool
  2. Potable Water
  3. Bottled and Un-Bottled Drinking water
  4. Chiller Water
  5. Condenser Water
  6. Cooling Tower
  7. Dental Chair Water Analysis

Water samples used for domestic as well for industrial procecss should be regularly analysed for the presence of pathogenic and non-pathogenic microorganisms and toixins. Some of the pathogenic microorganisms such as Escherichia coli and legionella can form biofims which are capable of causing diseases.  Certain microorganisms produce biofilms that can adhere to the surfaces of plumbing systems containing water, processing tanks and other environments at the factory, and these in general, are very resistant to the treatment with biocides
